This low fat green beans with crispy palma ham recipe is an easy to make receipe for a delicious starter. This recipe takes just 20 minutes in total and serves up to 6 people.

Green beans with crispy plama ham ingredients

  • 450g green beans
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 85g palma ham
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

Recipe method

Wash and top and tail the beans

Slice the spring onions

Tear palma ham into strips

Bring a pan of water to the boil and add in the green beans - allow to cook for 3 1/2 minutes

Pour the olive oil into a frying pan and add the palma ham. Fry until crispy and then add in the spring onions for the final minute.

Drain the beans and tip them into the frying pan.

Toss the beans with the onions and ham.

Serve each portion on a plate and season to taste. Sprinkle the vinegar over the plate.
